Each October, Linbrook Heritage Estate hosts it's Annual Steam Day at the Neal Agricultural and Industrial Museum. Each April, in commemoration of the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, Mr. Jerry D. Neal dons period clothing and takes the stage as Gugliemlo Marconi, the father of all wireless communications. Mr. Neal's portrayal of Guglielmo Marconi is informative, at times humorous, and ultimately poignant as he commemorates a tragic event in which Marconi's invention of wireless telegraphy played a crucial role.Welcome!
Linbrook Heritage Estate is located in Trinity, North Carolina. It rests in the foothills of the oldest mountain range in the United States, the Uwharrie Mountains, and is crossed by two rivers, the Deep River and the Uwharrie River.
Jerry and Linda Neal, owners of Linbrook Heritage Estate, are strongly connected to the land on which the Estate is found. Mr. Neal’s ancestors settled in the area nearly 250 years ago, forming a bond to this area of Randolph County that Mr. Neal continues to strengthen today. Each of the four properties found on Linbrook Heritage Estate demonstrates the significance of Randolph County, its land, and its people.

Visitors to Linbrook Hall frequently comment that they have a feeling of warmth and welcoming that they did not expect, given the size and formality of this home. This feeling is possible because of the tireless efforts of Linda Neal during the more than six years of planning and construction of Linbrook Hall. Linda’s passion for antique designs and appreciation for ageless craftsmanship made this a project of the heart. During this period Linda traveled the world and worked with local antique shops and individuals, to acquire the furnishing and art for Linbrook Hall. Linda used her talent to provide the colors and artwork that would work in harmony with the classical architecture, transforming Linbrook Hall from a building to an art piece that would reflect her sense of proportion and beauty. It is totally fitting that Linbrook Hall was named in her honor.

Tours by appointment only. Please call at least 48 hours in advance to book your tour. Please note: Guided tours of 10 or more are permitted throughout the year, however, during the month of December, any group size is welcomed! Take a guided tour of the elegant 60 room home, one of the largest in the southeastern United States, completed in 2007. Linbrook Hall is located atop a hill with views of the rolling Uwharrie Mountains and contains architectural details found in many 18th century homes. Hear the story of the Neal's and see their personal collection of antiques from around the world beautifully displayed throughout the home.
Historic Hoover Home
Tours by appointment only. Please call at least 48 hours in advance to book your tour. Relive Randolph County farm life from 1905-1944 at the historic Hoover Home, which was built by Jerry Neal’s great-grandfather, Edd Hoover, in 1905. Through docent guided tours, visitors will see the home and learn about the Hoovers and their daily lives. Lovingly restored to its original appearance, the house displays some of Edd Hoover’s early farm equipment and hand-made tools.
The Neal Agricultural and Industrial Museum
No appointment necessary. View rare tractors and collectibles at this museum, which features Hi-Crop and orchard models. All tractors have been restored to like new condition and are periodically operated in field demonstrations on Linbrook Heritage Estate. Also see a 1926 return tube boiler retrieved from the local P&P Chair Company, known for manufacturing the famous Carolina Rocker used by John F. Kennedy during his presidency. The historic boiler will soon be used in conjunction with an 1890s steam engine to produce electrical power for other exhibits, including an early 20th century sawmill and sugar cane mill. While at the museum, browse our on-site gift shop and purchase a souvenir to take home with you.
